The Crunch GP690 V2 is a compact active subwoofer designed specifically for space-saving installation in the spare tire well. This installation location preserves most of the trunk’s regular storage space while enhancing the existing sound system with powerful bass reproduction.
Inside the round enclosure, a 15 x 23 cm (6 x 9") subwoofer works in conjunction with a built-in Class A/B amplifier. The system delivers 150 watts RMS and achieves a maximum output power of 300 watts. Thanks to the built-in amplifier, no additional subwoofer power amplifier is required.
To accommodate different vehicles and audio systems, the GP690 V2 features an adjustable low-pass filter ranging from 50 to 150 Hz, a bass boost of up to 12 dB at 45 Hz, and a switchable phase setting of 0° or 180°. A fixed subsonic filter set to 25 Hz protects the system from unnecessarily low frequencies.
In addition to RCA inputs, high-level inputs are also available. This allows the active subwoofer to be integrated even into vehicles with factory-installed radios or OEM sound systems that do not have a separate RCA output. The automatic power-on function further simplifies integration into such systems.
Using the included wired bass-level remote control, you can conveniently adjust the subwoofer volume from the driver's seat.
