Crunch GP1000

The Crunch GP1000 is a compact active subwoofer designed for vehicles where more powerful bass reproduction is desired without having to fit a large subwoofer in the trunk. The slim enclosure houses a 25 cm (10") subwoofer and an integrated Class A/B amplifier with 100 watts RMS. Thanks to its low profile of just 83 mm, the GP1000 is suitable—depending on available space—for installation under a vehicle seat, for example.

Both RCA and high-level inputs are available for integration into various car audio systems. This allows the active subwoofer to be combined not only with aftermarket radios but also with many factory-installed radios that lack a separate RCA output. Using the high-level input, the GP1000 can be automatically activated via the auto-on function.

To match the existing speaker system, the GP1000 offers an adjustable low-pass filter ranging from 50 to 150 Hz. It also features a bass boost ranging from 0 to 12 dB at 60 Hz and a phase shift control ranging from 0° to 180°. A fixed subsonic filter set at 30 Hz limits particularly low-frequency components. The subwoofer level can be conveniently adjusted from the driver’s seat using the included bass level remote control.
