The Autotek A690RXA is a compact active subwoofer designed for vehicles that require powerful bass while minimizing the space taken up in the trunk. The space-saving bass-reflex enclosure combines a 6 x 9-inch (15 x 23 cm) subwoofer with a built-in power amplifier. This allows the system to be integrated into an existing car audio system without the need for an additional external subwoofer amplifier.
With 150 watts RMS and 300 watts of maximum output power, the A690RXA offers ample power reserves to provide powerful support for your existing speaker system. The variable low-pass filter allows the subwoofer’s operating range to be adjusted between 50 and 150 Hz to match the specific sound system. Additionally, a bass boost is available, providing a boost of up to 12 dB at 45 Hz.
For integration into various vehicles, the active subwoofer features both RCA inputs and high-level inputs. This allows the A690RXA to be paired not only with aftermarket radios but also with many factory-installed audio systems. The automatic power-on function makes it particularly easy to connect the subwoofer via the speaker signals.
Additional tuning options include a fixed 25-Hz subsonic filter and a switchable phase setting of 0° or 180°. The included wired bass remote control allows you to conveniently adjust the bass level from the driver's seat.
