The Audison APS 8 R is a compact 20 cm subwoofer from the Prima series, developed for powerful bass reproduction in particularly space-saving enclosures. Thanks to its flat design, the subwoofer is ideal for modern vehicle concepts with limited installation space and at the same time enables impressive bass performance.
Specially tuned for use in compact bass reflex enclosures from 8.5 liters, the APS 8 R delivers a precise, deep and dynamic bass range. The optimized geometry of the cone, dustcap and basket enables a high excursion despite the low installation depth and thus ensures a powerful sound image even in small installations.
The water-repellent paper cone was developed for precise and controlled reproduction and offers a clean bass performance even at higher levels. The system is complemented by a powerful ferrite magnet system and efficient ventilation of the voice coil for improved heat dissipation.
The APS 8 R has been specially designed for combination with Audison Prima amplifiers and is perfect for high-quality OEM upgrades and compact car hi-fi systems with high demands on sound quality and installation flexibility.
