HiFonics ZRX220A

The HiFonics ZEUS ZRX220A is a powerful active subwoofer system featuring two 20 cm (8-inch) woofers and a built-in Class A/B amplifier. With a total power output of 300 watts RMS and a maximum of 600 watts, this compact dual bass-reflex system delivers powerful and dynamic bass reproduction.

The exceptionally sturdy enclosure is made entirely of aluminum and weighs about 11 kg. The two flat-panel subwoofers are equipped with high-quality aluminum cones and 36-mm voice coils. Sturdy protective grilles shield the cones from external influences.

Thanks to its slim design, the ZRX220A is ideal for installation in the trunk, under a suitable bench seat, or in a dual-layer trunk floor. The enclosure can also be turned upside down to function as a down-firing system, allowing the speakers to radiate downward and the top of the enclosure to be used as a storage surface.

The built-in amplifier offers a wide range of adjustment options. An adjustable low-pass filter, a fixed subsonic filter, a phase switch, and a bass boost function allow for customization of bass reproduction. The included wired bass-level remote control allows you to conveniently adjust the subwoofer from the driver’s seat.

Thanks to its RCA and high-level inputs with an automatic power-on function, the system is suitable for both aftermarket radios and many factory-installed car stereos.
