The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The GAS Audio MAX B1-38 was developed for discerning car audio enthusiasts who expect maximum performance combined with a compact design. Three powerful 8-inch subwoofers work together in a precisely tuned bass-reflex enclosure to produce deep, punchy bass with high dynamics and impressive control.
The solidly constructed MDF enclosure, featuring a reinforced baffle and internal bracing, minimizes cabinet resonance and ensures clean, precise sound reproduction even at high volume levels. The generously sized slot-port design supports high airflow and enables powerful bass reproduction with excellent efficiency.
Inside, three specially developed MAX S1 subwoofers feature a robust steel basket, durable 2.5-inch voice coils, and powerful ferrite magnets. The cone, made of reinforced paper composite material with mica additives, combines high stability with low weight and enables precise bass reproduction even at high excursion. Thanks to its internal 1.33-ohm impedance configuration, the enclosure is ideally suited for high-power monoblock amplifiers and can reach its full potential when paired with sufficient amplifier power.
