The bass-reflex enclosure, developed specifically for this vehicle, fits perfectly into the trunk and comes equipped with a high-quality 8-inch MAX subwoofer. The combination of an optimally tuned enclosure volume, a flow-optimized slot port, and a robust long-throw subwoofer delivers deep, precise, and dynamic bass with impressive sound pressure.
The built-in MAX S1-8D1 subwoofer features a robust cone made of unpressed paper, a generously sized 2.5-inch dual voice coil, and a solid aluminum basket. Combined with the powerful ferrite magnets and the long-throw foam surround, this creates a setup that excels in both musical precision and high volume levels. The sturdy enclosure reduces unwanted resonance and makes optimal use of the available installation space in the Polestar 2.
