The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The GAS Audio MAX B1-18 was developed for discerning car audio enthusiasts seeking maximum bass performance in a compact space. The compact bass-reflex enclosure is equipped with a specially tuned 8-inch high-performance subwoofer and delivers powerful, precise, and deep bass despite its small size. The flow-optimized slot-port design ensures high efficiency and clean bass reproduction, while the sturdy MDF enclosure minimizes unwanted resonance.
The built-in subwoofer features a robust cone made of unpressed paper reinforced with minerals, a generously sized 2.5-inch dual voice coil, a solid dual-ferrite driver, and a high-load-capacity Nomex suspension. This ensures that the bass remains controlled and dynamic even at high volume levels. Thanks to the included jumper cables, the impedance can be flexibly adjusted, allowing the enclosure to adapt optimally to different amplifier configurations. Additional feet allow for down-firing installation if desired, providing even more sound pressure inside the vehicle. The pre-installed protective grille reliably protects the subwoofer from damage and complements its high-quality appearance.
