The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

With the GAS Audio MAX B1-16, GAS Audio Power proves that even a compact 6.5-inch subwoofer enclosure can deliver impressive deep bass. The pre-tuned bass-reflex enclosure with a slot port was specifically designed for high sound pressure levels, precise bass reproduction, and high power handling. Despite its compact dimensions, the system produces surprisingly powerful and dynamic bass that shines with electronic music as well as rock and hip-hop.
Inside, a MAX subwoofer—developed specifically for this enclosure—features a robust 2-inch dual voice coil, a durable paper cone, and a powerful dual ferrite magnet system. The sturdy steel basket construction, the Nomex suspension, and the high-performance foam surround ensure large cone excursion, precise control, and a long service life—even at high volume levels.
The solid enclosure reduces unwanted resonance and features a flow-optimized slot port for maximum efficiency in the low-frequency range. Thanks to the high-quality terminal blocks and the included jumpers, the impedance can be easily adjusted to suit different amplifier configurations. The pre-installed protective cover reliably protects the subwoofer from damage and complements its premium look.
