Wiring wizard & port computer

Use our wiring wizard for simple wiring of speakers and subwoofers! The correct connection is important for your amplifier! Low-impedance operation can damage the amplifier! The data sheet shows you which connection the respective amplifier is designed for!

Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The HiFonics MR8BP from the MERCURY series is a high-performance 20 cm (8-inch) bandpass enclosure subwoofer that combines powerful bass reproduction with compact dimensions. Thanks to its specially tuned bandpass design, the system offers high efficiency and delivers powerful low-frequency reproduction even in tight spaces.

Inside, a durable long-throw subwoofer with a chrome-plated steel basket, a sturdy paper cone, and a 50 mm voice coil is at work. The sturdy MDF enclosure supports precise bass reproduction and features a transparent front panel.

A special visual highlight is the integrated LED interior lighting, which can be set to either blue or white. Combined with the chrome-plated components, this creates a striking lighting effect inside the case.

With a 300-watt RMS power handling capacity and an impedance of 4 ohms, the MR8BP is suitable for use with a compatible external power amplifier.
