ESX QXB6A

The ESX QUANTUM QXB6A combines a powerful 16.5 cm (6.5-inch) subwoofer with a built-in Class-D digital amplifier in an exceptionally compact bass-reflex enclosure. With 250 watts RMS and up to 500 watts of peak power, this active subwoofer system delivers powerful bass reproduction without the need for an additional external power amplifier.

The integrated POWER4 Class-D amplifier module delivers impressive efficiency, with an efficiency rating of up to 84%. This advanced amplifier technology delivers high output power in a compact design. Thanks to the integrated EPS® PRO technology, the system is also suitable for retrofitting in modern vehicles equipped with factory-installed audio systems and speaker diagnostics.

Both low-level RCA and high-level inputs are available for flexible integration. The automatic power-on function detects either an audio signal or a voltage rise. In addition, an adjustable low-pass filter, subsonic filter, bass boost, and phase switch allow for customization to the vehicle and the existing speakers.

A unique feature of the QXB6A is the ability to convert the enclosure into a down-firing subwoofer using the included mounting feet. In this configuration, the speaker radiates sound downward, making the system ideal for installation in double trunk floors, for example. The included wired bass-level remote control allows you to conveniently adjust the bass volume from the driver’s seat.
