Sundown M10

The Sundown Audio M10 from the M-Series is a no-compromise 25-cm subwoofer designed for high-performance car audio systems with exceptionally high demands for deep bass, volume, and mechanical durability. Despite its comparatively compact cone area, the M10 is rated for 2,000 watts RMS and offers exceptional headroom thanks to its enormous cone excursion.

A key feature of the M-Series is the Mega-Roll surround developed by Sundown, combined with the solid Mega-Series basket. This design enables a linear Xmax of 35 mm and a mechanical excursion of up to 59.5 mm. As a result, the M10 can move large volumes of air even at very low frequencies.

The powerful driver features a four-layer magnetic assembly. In addition, an aluminum short-circuit ring is used in the inner section of the magnet system to reduce induction-induced distortion and contribute to controlled sound reproduction. The linear suspension developed by Sundown has been tuned for a long stroke and low distortion.

The M10 is therefore particularly well-suited for performance-oriented systems that require powerful low-frequency bass and very high sound pressure levels despite its 25-cm driver. It is available with either 2 × 1-ohm or 2 × 2-ohm voice coils, allowing it to be flexibly adapted to high-power mono power amplifiers.
