The Ground Zero GZPM 80SQ-C is a high-quality 80-mm midrange speaker from the Plutonium series, designed for high-end car audio systems with a special focus on detail and precise music reproduction. Its ceramic-coated aluminum cone combines high rigidity with low weight, creating optimal conditions for fast and controlled reproduction of the midrange.

A high-performance neodymium magnet system is used to drive the driver. The linearized design, combined with the 20-mm voice coil, ensures controlled diaphragm movement. With a sensitivity of 89 dB and a power handling capacity of up to 110 watts, the GZPM 80SQ-C is ideal for high-quality active multi-way systems and custom sound-quality installations.

Mechanically as well, the midrange driver is consistently designed for high-quality construction. A sturdy die-cast aluminum basket forms the base of the driver, while gold-plated solder terminals ensure a reliable electrical connection. The design was optimized using the Klippel® measurement system to specifically tune the speaker’s performance under real-world operating conditions.

With an installation depth of just 39 mm, this compact midrange driver can also be used in a wide variety of vehicle designs. The package includes a Ground Zero Hexagon NRG protective grille. The speakers are sold as a pair.
