GZPA 4SQ

The Ground Zero GZPA 4SQ is a powerful 4-channel amplifier from the Plutonium series, designed specifically for high-quality music reproduction. Delivering up to 4 x 350 watts RMS into 1 ohm, this power amplifier combines high power reserves with a sophisticated sound-quality design.

A distinctive feature of the GZPA 4SQ is its variable BIAS control. This control allows you to influence the operation of the power amplifier and, consequently, its sonic characteristics. A higher BIAS setting promotes a warmer, more spacious sound, while a lower setting results in a more direct and clear sound character. This allows the power amplifier to be specifically tailored to the speaker system and the user’s personal sound preferences.

For building active car audio systems, the GZPA 4SQ features a variable active crossover with high-pass, low-pass, and band-pass functions. If necessary, the filter section can be bypassed. The wide-band frequency response up to 50 kHz also makes the amplifier an attractive option for demanding high-resolution audio applications.

Thanks to its high load stability, the GZPA 4SQ speaker can be operated not only at 4 and 2 ohms, but also at 1 ohm impedance per channel. According to the manufacturer’s manual, in bridge mode, up to 2 x 450 watts RMS at 4 ohms or 2 x 700 watts RMS at 2 ohms are available.

The solid heat sink ensures reliable heat dissipation and, together with the illuminated “Ground Zero” logo, highlights the high-quality construction. Sturdy connections and carefully selected components round out the overall design, which is engineered for high-performance sound quality systems.
