The MAX PMW1-84N is designed for impressive sound pressure levels and detailed midrange reproduction. Equipped with a water-repellent A3D cone, a powerful N52 neodymium magnet, a Kapton voice coil and a copper shorting ring - all packed into a compact 8-inch powerhouse. We call it the MAXimal sound experience!

Experience a rich, controlled mid-bass designed for precision, punch and high output - this driver handles up to 350W peak power and is ideal for SPL and ESQL systems. It's a truly exciting midrange driver with a dynamic and detailed sound that also exudes plenty of authority. With intelligent design features such as a low resonant frequency, progressive A3 NBR suspension and a cotton blend and Conex spider, we have created a speaker that will surprise and impress you!

You'll want to turn the volume knob all the way up, and a speaker that really freaks you out needs two things: robust materials and a cool design. The basket is made of steel and features a special M design. Thanks to the industrial sand finish, it looks just as good as it sounds. Another highlight is the DVS™ (Dual Ventilation System) for less distortion and improved heat dissipation.

EVERY DETAIL COUNTS
Take good care of your favorite pieces, so we've included a hexagonal grille with aluminum plaque to protect your new favorite speaker. If you take a closer look, you will also discover our so-called CD crosshead connection. This is an extra large "Cable Direct" connection. It is huge and offers space for cables up to 10 mm² (8 AWG)! After all, SPL is more than just music - so expand your SPL system with more speakers - you know you want to.
