The Comfort Mat Aerospace VOLT was developed specifically for vehicle applications where minimal additional weight combined with high sound insulation is required. Thanks to its innovative aerospace sandwich construction, it combines vibration damping and sound insulation in a single layer of material, enabling quick and space-saving installation. VOLT stands out—particularly in electric vehicles, sports cars, and high-end car audio projects—thanks to its outstanding balance of weight, stability, and damping performance.

Thanks to its multi-layered construction—featuring aluminum foil and a special mastic mixture with foamed granules—the mat effectively reduces sheet metal resonance, stiffens thin body panels, and simultaneously minimizes the transmission of road, wind, and rolling noise. Since no additional sound-deadening layer is required, Aerospace VOLT is ideal for areas with limited installation depth.

Quick Installation Guide

1. Thoroughly clean the surface to remove dust, grease, wax, and dirt.
2. Cut the insulation mat to size and position it to see how it fits.
3. In low ambient temperatures, gently warm the mat with a heat gun or hair dryer to increase its flexibility and adhesive strength.
4. Remove the protective film and apply the mat to the cleaned surface.
5. Then use a pressure roller to carefully press it down, ensuring there are no air bubbles, until the mat adheres to the entire surface of the sheet metal.
6. For maximum insulation, all areas should be rolled on completely and smoothly.
