Aerospace PULSAR - 5 MM

The Comfort Mat Aerospace PULSAR was developed for demanding vehicle sound deadening applications that require a high level of sound deadening combined with as little additional weight as possible. Thanks to its innovative construction—consisting of a vibroacoustic mastic layer with foamed granules and a sturdy aluminum top layer—PULSAR effectively reduces sheet metal resonance, structure-borne noise, and disruptive driving noise—even with just a single layer of material.

Unlike traditional two-layer structures, the Aerospace PULSAR combines vibration damping and sound insulation in a single material. This makes installation significantly easier and adds only a minimal amount of weight to the vehicle. PULSAR offers an excellent balance of insulation performance, stiffness, and weight—especially for modern electric vehicles, sports cars, or high-end car audio projects.

Quick Installation Guide

1. Thoroughly clean the surface to remove dust, grease, wax, and moisture.
2. Cut the insulation mat to the desired size.
3. At low ambient temperatures, gently heat the mat to approximately 40–60 °C to optimize installation and adhesion.
4. Remove the protective film and place the mat on the clean baking sheet.
5. Using a pressure roller, press down carefully and evenly until the entire surface lies flat without any bubbles.
6. Roll over edges and seams particularly carefully to ensure a durable bond with the substrate.
