The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The Ground Zero GZNW 30SPL is a no-compromise 30-cm subwoofer from the NUCLEAR series designed for high-performance car audio and SPL systems. With a power handling capacity of 3,000 watts RMS and up to 6,000 watts SPL, the subwoofer is designed for applications that require high sound pressure levels, substantial mechanical reserves, and a robust construction.

The sturdy chassis is based on a solid cast aluminum basket and a fiber-reinforced paper cone. A 75-mm CCA round-wire voice coil provides the drive. In combination with the four-layer Nomex suspension, the GZNW 30SPL is designed to withstand high electrical and mechanical loads. The Klippel®-optimized design ensures controlled cone movement even at high volume levels.

With a maximum excursion of 70 mm, the 30-cm woofer offers enormous excursion reserves. This makes it suitable not only for high-performance SPL setups and competition vehicles, but also for extremely powerful bass systems for everyday use.

The GZNW 30SPL is available in two versions. The GZNW 30SPL-D1 features a 2 × 1-ohm dual voice coil, while the GZNW 30SPL-D2 is equipped with a 2 × 2-ohm dual voice coil. This allows you to select the appropriate impedance variant based on the amplifier being used and the number of subwoofers installed
