The Phoenix Gold ZXT12D2 is an ultra-slim 30-cm subwoofer from the ZX series and is ideal for car audio installations where installation depth is limited. Despite its compact design, the subwoofer is engineered to deliver powerful and deep bass reproduction.

The lightweight yet rigid fiberglass cone ensures controlled movement of the woofer. A robust butyl rubber surround supports clean cone excursion and enables powerful bass reproduction. The design is complemented by a polycotton suspension and an oxygen-free copper (OFC) voice coil.

With an installation depth of just 105 mm, the ZXT12D2 can be used even in spaces where there isn’t enough room for a conventional 30-cm subwoofer. Its 2 × 2-ohm dual voice coil also offers flexible connection options to compatible mono or multichannel power amplifiers.

Phoenix Gold recommends a sealed enclosure with a volume of at least 28 liters for the ZXT12D2. The manufacturer expressly does not recommend a bass-reflex enclosure for this model.
