The Phoenix Gold ZXT10D4 is an exceptionally slim 25-cm subwoofer designed for car audio installations that require powerful low-frequency bass but have limited space available for the enclosure. With an installation depth of just 95 mm, the driver is ideal for compact and custom-built subwoofer enclosures.

The lightweight yet torsionally rigid fiberglass diaphragm forms the basis for controlled bass reproduction. A robust butyl rubber surround allows for the necessary cone excursion and ensures precise control even under high loads. The design is complemented by a polycotton spider and an oxygen-free copper (OFC) voice coil.

With 350 watts RMS and a maximum power handling capacity of 700 watts, the ZXT10D4 offers ample power reserves for high-performance car audio systems. Its dual voice coil with 2 × 4 ohms also allows for flexible adaptation to the power amplifier being used.

Phoenix Gold recommends a sealed enclosure with a net volume of 18 liters for the ZXT10D4. The manufacturer does not recommend a bass-reflex enclosure for this model. This makes the subwoofer particularly well-suited for compact installations where the goal is to achieve controlled, powerful bass while taking up as little space as possible.
