The Phoenix Gold ZX18PBS is an exceptionally slim-profile enclosed subwoofer designed for vehicles that require powerful bass reinforcement without sacrificing unnecessary trunk space. With its 20 cm (8-inch) subwoofer and a power handling capacity of 200 watts RMS, it is ideal for enhancing the sound quality of existing car audio systems.

The chassis operates within a sealed enclosure, which means the ZX18PBS is designed to deliver controlled and precise bass reproduction. With a height of just 124.8 mm, the subwoofer can be installed even in spaces where there is hardly any room for traditional subwoofer enclosures.

Another advantage is its flexible installation. The ZX18PBS can be positioned in various ways depending on the installation situation and can also be mounted as a down-firing subwoofer. The necessary brackets and mounting hardware are included. This makes the subwoofer particularly well-suited for discreet car audio installations where the goal is to lose as little usable vehicle space as possible.

Thanks to its 4-ohm impedance, this passive subwoofer can be paired with a wide range of compatible mono and multichannel power amplifiers. For optimal performance, we recommend a power amplifier whose output matches the subwoofer’s RMS power handling capacity.
