Phoenix Gold ZQ5004

The Phoenix Gold ZQ5004 is a high-quality 4-channel amplifier designed for high-end car audio systems. With its classic Class A/B circuitry, it is designed for users who, in addition to high output power, place particular value on clean, natural, and controlled music reproduction.

With the ZQ5004, Phoenix Gold combines modern amplifier technology with exceptionally high-quality components. The dual-layer circuit board undergoes a gold immersion treatment, while gold-plated connection terminals ensure a reliable electrical connection. High-quality capacitors from Nichicon and Wima, as well as shielded transformer cores, are also integral to the design of the ZQ series. An optimized dual power supply provides the necessary power for the four amplifier channels.

With its four channels, the ZQ5004 offers flexible usage options. For example, it can power a complete front and rear speaker system. Alternatively, two channels can be bridged to drive higher-power speakers or a subwoofer. In a bridged configuration, two channels are designed to handle at least 4 ohms each.

Adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters, as well as a bass boost, are available to optimize the sound for the connected speakers. This allows the amplifier to be used in both traditional multichannel systems and custom-tuned front-speaker/subwoofer configurations.

Measuring just 280 × 200 × 56 mm, the ZQ5004 remains relatively compact despite its powerful Class A/B technology. The black-and-gold enclosure design echoes the look typical of Phoenix Gold.
