Phoenix Gold Z8AB

The Phoenix Gold Z8AB is a complete bass solution for vehicles that require powerful and cleanly tuned low-frequency sound without the need to install a separate subwoofer amplifier. An 8-inch subwoofer operates inside a bass-reflex enclosure in conjunction with a built-in Class A/B power amplifier. This combination delivers an RMS power of 125 watts and a maximum power of 500 watts.

The specially designed, trapezoidal enclosure is not only compact but also promotes controlled bass reproduction thanks to its shape. The bass-reflex design makes efficient use of the available space and enables powerful reproduction in the low-frequency range. With dimensions of just 400 x 295 x 280 mm, the Z8AB can also be installed in vehicles where space is limited for a full-scale subwoofer setup

Flexible integration into existing sound systems

Both low-level and high-level inputs are available for signal input. This allows the active subwoofer to be paired not only with aftermarket radios featuring RCA outputs, but also with many factory-installed audio systems.

When using the high-level input, the Z8AB supports an automatic power-on function. If the electronics detect an audio signal, the active subwoofer turns on automatically. Therefore, an additional remote control wire from the radio is not strictly necessary if the system is installed correctly.

The built-in low-pass filter can be adjusted between 50 and 200 Hz. This allows the subwoofer's operating range to be tuned to match the existing front and rear speakers

Adjust the bass level conveniently from the driver's seat

The package includes a wired bass remote control. It can be mounted in the front of the vehicle and allows you to quickly adjust the subwoofer level while driving. This lets you tailor the bass intensity to different music genres or recordings, for example, without having to change the settings directly on the subwoofer

Complete connection kit included

Phoenix Gold ships the Z8AB with a wiring kit included. In addition to the necessary power cables, the package also includes signal and remote cables. This means that key components for installation are already included and do not need to be purchased separately.
