The Phoenix Gold Z1502i is a compact 2-channel amplifier designed for car audio applications that require a combination of solid output power and flexible connection options. Thanks to its Class A/B circuitry, this amplifier is particularly well-suited for driving a front or rear speaker system. Alternatively, the two channels can be bridged to power a single speaker or a suitable subwoofer with up to 200 watts RMS.

Measuring just 184 x 160 x 48 mm, the Z1502i can be installed in a vehicle with relative ease, even in tight spaces. A built-in fan helps regulate the temperature of the power amplifier.

In addition to standard RCA signals, the amplifier also processes high-level signals, making it suitable for integration into vehicles equipped with factory-installed radios. The high-level Auto-Turn-On function allows the power amplifier to turn on automatically in response to the incoming audio signal.

Adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters ranging from 50 to 400 Hz are available for matching the unit to the connected speaker system. In addition, the bass range can be boosted by up to +18 dB at 45 Hz.

An integrated protection circuit monitors the amplifier for temperature, power supply, and short circuits, among other things. Combined with its rugged terminal block, the Z1502i is a compact solution for a variety of car audio retrofit applications.
