The Phoenix Gold Z12AB is a powerful all-in-one solution for anyone who wants to add a strong and punchy bass foundation to their car audio system. The 12-inch subwoofer is housed in a specially tuned bass-reflex enclosure and is powered by a built-in Class A/B amplifier. This eliminates the need for an additional subwoofer amplifier.

With 500 watts RMS and up to 1,000 watts of peak power, the Z12AB offers ample power reserves for a rich low-frequency response. The bass-reflex enclosure supports efficient bass reproduction. Its trapezoidal design is engineered to reduce unwanted standing waves inside the enclosure.

Both low-level and high-level connections are available for integration into various car audio systems. This allows the active subwoofer to be paired not only with aftermarket radios featuring RCA outputs but also with many factory-installed car stereos. When using the high-level input, an automatic power-on function is also available.

The adjustable low-pass filter allows you to tailor the subwoofer's operating range to match your existing speakers. The package also includes a wired bass remote control, which lets you conveniently adjust the subwoofer level from the driver's seat.
