Phoenix Gold ZXM500.4

The Phoenix Gold ZXM500.4i combines high output power with exceptionally compact dimensions. The 4-channel power amplifier uses efficient Class D technology and delivers up to 4 × 125 watts RMS into 2 ohms. This makes it ideal for high-performance front and rear systems, as well as for installations where space for the amplifier is limited.

Despite its compact enclosure, the ZXM500.4i offers versatile options for building a car audio system. It delivers 4 × 80 watts RMS at 4 ohms. Alternatively, two channels can be bridged at a time, yielding 2 × 250 watts RMS at 4 ohms. This allows the power amplifier to be used, for example, with a speaker system in combination with a suitable subwoofer.

A particular advantage of the ZXM500.4i is its suitability for integration into vehicles with factory-installed audio systems. The high-level input handles input voltages of up to 20 volts, allowing it to be connected to the speaker outputs of many OEM radios and factory amplifiers. The integrated OEM Impedance Simulation (OIS) can simulate the speaker load required for certain factory radios.

To turn the unit on, you can use either automatic activation via the high-level signal or traditional remote control. Adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters also allow for precise tuning of the connected speakers.

Thanks to a footprint of just 149 × 83.1 mm without mounting feet, the ZXM500.4i can be installed even in spaces where there is barely enough room for a conventional multi-channel power amplifier. Quick-connect terminals further simplify installation and make the amplifier an attractive solution for both compact retrofit systems and more extensive OEM upgrades.
