The GAS Audio MAD PM2-64S is a high-performance 16.5 cm (6.5-inch) SPL midrange driver from the MAD PM2 series, designed specifically for high volume levels and space-saving installations. With 100 watts RMS, a sensitivity of 94 dB, and an exceptionally shallow mounting depth of just 59 mm, it is ideal for high-performance car audio systems, SPL applications, and elaborate door panel installations.
Thanks to the newly developed slim speaker basket, the MAD PM2-64S can be integrated even in spaces with limited installation room. The redesigned cone geometry, featuring a reinforced paper cone, delivers powerful midrange reproduction with high impact and an extended frequency range. The robust 2R fabric surround ensures the necessary stability under high loads.
A built-in copper shorting ring reduces distortion and improves sound control, even at high volumes. The 38-mm voice coil and the A-Star ventilation system ensure reliable heat dissipation. Gold-plated dual terminals simplify the wiring of multiple speakers and enable the construction of large-scale SPL and ESQL systems.
