The Ground Zero GZCM 6.5NEO-DC is a high-performance 165-mm midrange driver from the COMPETITION series, designed for high efficiency and correspondingly high sound levels. With a power handling capacity of 120 watts RMS and up to 320 watts peak, the speaker is particularly well-suited for performance-oriented car audio and SPL systems.

The compact neodymium driver delivers high efficiency with a comparatively shallow mounting depth. With an efficiency of 98 dB, the GZCM 6.5NEO-DC effectively converts the amplifier’s input power into sound pressure. The fiber-reinforced paper cone combines low weight with the stability required for dynamic and direct midrange reproduction.

Unlike the Phase Plug version, the GZCM 6.5NEO, the DC version uses a traditional paper dust cap. Ground Zero developed this variant specifically for applications where the listening area is relatively close to the speaker.

A 38-mm CCA voice coil, the low-resonance steel basket, and the powerful neodymium magnet form the technical foundation of the driver. With an installation depth of just 65 mm, the midrange driver can also be installed in many locations where space is limited.

A protective grille with a distinctive hexagonal design is included with the product
