With the SounDigital 12000.1 EVO X, SounDigital is targeting users who need uncompromising performance for high-powered subwoofer systems. This digital monoblock combines enormous output power with a comparatively compact design, utilizing SounDigital’s proprietary EVO X technology to ensure high energy efficiency and precise signal processing. Thanks to the patented I-Power power supply, Low Bass Correction, and the vibration-optimized enclosure design, the amplifier delivers stable performance and controlled bass reproduction even under high continuous load.

The built-in active crossover with an adjustable low-pass filter and subsonic filter allows for precise tuning to virtually any subwoofer system. The optional SD Remote Level Controller lets you conveniently adjust the bass level from the driver's seat. Despite its extreme power output, the amplifier remains relatively compact and is suitable for both SPL applications and high-performance daily-driver projects.

Frequently asked questions about the Soundigital 12000.1evo X amplifier

Can I also run the Soundigital 12000.1 EVO X at 2 or 4 ohms?

Yes, the amplifier does operate at higher impedances, although the power output is reduced accordingly. At 2 ohms, it delivers around 7,000 watts RMS; at 4 ohms, around 3,500 watts RMS.

How big is the amplifier, and will it fit in any boot?

With its compact dimensions of approximately 42 x 22 x 6 cm, the EVO X is remarkably space-saving for its performance class. It can be easily installed in most vehicles, either under the seat or in the boot.

What fuses and cable cross-sections do I need for the installation?

For full power output, we recommend at least 2 x 300A fuses and power cables with a cross-sectional area of 2 x 50 mm². The earth lead should also have this cross-sectional area to minimise voltage drops.

Does the amplifier get very hot, and do I need additional cooling?

Thanks to DTR technology, heat build-up remains under control even at full load. With standard installation and adequate air circulation, no additional cooling is required. In extreme SPL applications, an additional fan may be advisable.

Can the Soundigital be used with other amplifiers?

Absolutely, the 12000.1 works perfectly with other Soundigital models or high-quality amplifiers from other brands. Its precise signal processing allows for seamless integration into existing systems.

How long will the amplifier last when operated continuously at full power?

The EVO X is designed for continuous professional use. When installed correctly and with adequate ventilation, it operates for hours on end at full power without any loss of performance or activation of protective circuits.

Does the exclusive RTGP system also work with aftermarket alternators?

The RTGP system optimises power output independently of the alternator. It works with both standard and upgraded alternators and automatically adjusts the parameters to the available voltage.

How should I store the amplifier when it is not fitted in the vehicle?

Store the 12000.1 in a dry place at room temperature. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity. The connectors should be fitted with the protective caps supplied.
