The Musway MSB570 silicone speaker sleeves enable optimized sound transmission between the speaker and the vehicle interior. They were specifically designed for 13 x 18 cm (5 x 7-inch) speakers and help reduce unwanted vibrations, resonances, and acoustic short circuits.
When installing speakers in vehicle doors or rear shelves, small gaps often form between the speaker and the trim. This can result in a loss of sound energy and compromise sound quality. The flexible Musway silicone sleeves seal these areas and ensure that sound is directed more effectively into the vehicle’s interior.
Thanks to their special design, the sleeves serve simultaneously as a baffle seal, a sound horn, and a vibration damper. The flexible silicone material can be cut to size as needed and adapted to various installation scenarios.
The included foam inserts with raised dots further help dampen resonance. In addition, the sleeves protect the speakers from moisture, splashes, and dirt. The result is improved sound quality, more precise bass reproduction, and added protection for the speakers.
