The Musway MSB165 silicone speaker sleeves are designed to specifically improve the sound quality of in-car speakers. Especially when installed in car doors or rear shelves, gaps between the speaker and the trim can lead to unwanted sound loss, vibrations, and weaker bass response.
The flexible silicone sleeves serve simultaneously as a baffle seal, sound guide, and vibration dampener. They reduce acoustic short-circuits and promote targeted sound radiation into the vehicle interior. This results in more precise sound reproduction and more powerful bass response.
Thanks to the elastic silicone material, the sleeves can be cut to size as needed and adapted to various installation situations. They also protect the speakers from moisture, splashes, and dirt. The included dimpled foam pads provide additional damping to reduce unwanted resonance.
