Crunch GTS52

The Crunch GTS52 is a compact 13 cm (5.25") 2-way coaxial speaker designed to replace stock car speakers or to build a high-performance car audio system. The combination of a mid-bass driver and a centrally mounted tweeter allows the entire frequency spectrum to be reproduced by a single speaker in a space-saving design.

The polypropylene cone of the low-midrange driver combines low weight with high stability, enabling controlled reproduction of vocals, instruments, and dynamic musical passages. A 13-mm fabric-dome neodymium tweeter is used for the high-frequency range and is integrated directly into the low-midrange driver.

The Y30 magnetic drive enables a high-performance design combined with a compact form factor. With an installation depth of just 50 mm, the GTS52 is particularly well-suited for installation locations where space behind the speaker is limited. The sturdy steel basket provides a solid mechanical foundation.

One unique feature is its 3-ohm impedance. This allows the speaker to draw higher output power from compatible car stereos or amplifiers compared to traditional 4-ohm systems. With a power handling capacity of 75 watts RMS per speaker, the system can be operated either directly with high-power head units or in combination with a separate power amplifier.

Sturdy speaker grilles are also included and provide additional mechanical protection for the diaphragms when mounted in plain view.
