The Crunch GTS42 is a compact 10-cm coaxial speaker from the GTS series and is ideal for replacing stock car speakers. The combination of a mid-bass driver and an integrated tweeter allows the entire 2-way system to fit into a small space—a practical solution for original mounting locations with limited space.
For the low-midrange, Crunch relies on a durable polypropylene cone combined with a powerful Y30 magnetic drive. The integrated 13-mm fabric-dome neodymium tweeter handles the reproduction of high frequencies and complements the low-midrange driver to create a full-range speaker system.
A distinctive feature of the GTS42 is its 3-ohm impedance. This allows the speaker to draw more power—particularly from car stereos and compatible amplifiers—than comparable 4-ohm systems. With a power handling capacity of 60 watts RMS and a maximum of 120 watts per speaker, the system also offers sufficient headroom for high-power car audio applications.
Thanks to an installation depth of just 42 mm, the GTS42 can be used even in tight spaces. The sturdy steel basket provides a solid mechanical foundation. Matching speaker grilles are also included.
