The Crunch GTi6.2E is a 16.5 cm 2-way component system designed to enhance the sound quality or upgrade an existing car audio system. The separate reproduction via the low-midrange driver and tweeter enables balanced sound distribution with clear high-frequency reproduction and a powerful midrange.
The 165-mm deep-midrange drivers feature lightweight polypropylene cones and are housed in sturdy steel baskets. With an installation depth of just 57 mm, the system remains relatively compact, making it suitable for a wide range of installation positions in vehicle doors.
Separate 25-mm fabric tweeters with neodymium magnets are used for the high-frequency range. The included 12-dB cable crossovers handle the frequency division between the low-midrange driver and the tweeter. As a result, the GTi6.2E does not require large external crossover enclosures and can be installed in a space-saving manner.
With a power handling capacity of 2 x 100 watts RMS and an impedance of 4 ohms, the system is suitable for both high-powered car stereos and, in particular, for use with a separate car audio power amplifier. The specified frequency range extends from 54 Hz to 22,000 Hz.
