The Autotek ATX52 is a compact 13-cm coaxial speaker designed to replace stock car speakers or to build a simple car audio system. Thanks to the combination of a mid-bass driver and an integrated tweeter, both frequency ranges are reproduced via a single driver. This allows the system to be installed in many standard speaker locations while saving space.
The polypropylene cone of the 130-mm mid-bass driver combines a robust design with a lightweight construction. A 13-mm Mylar tweeter is used for the high-frequency range. The sturdy steel basket forms the mechanical foundation of the speaker.
With a power handling capacity of 80 watts RMS and a maximum power handling capacity of 160 watts, the ATX52 is suitable for use with a car stereo as well as in combination with a compatible power amplifier. The impedance is 4 ohms. Thanks to an installation depth of just 50 mm, the system remains relatively compact.
