The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The Ground Zero GZ GRILL 8U is a high-quality protective grille for 20 cm (8-inch) subwoofers that reliably protects the cone from mechanical damage caused by luggage, tools, or other objects in the vehicle. The two-piece design, consisting of a sturdy protective grille and a mounting ring, ensures easy installation and a secure fit. Thanks to the low-resonance NRG (Non-Resonant Grill) design, the subwoofer’s sound is barely affected. The protective grille is suitable for numerous Ground Zero 8-inch subwoofers and is also compatible with many other subwoofers of a similar size.
