The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The Ground Zero GZRK 165SQX was developed for demanding car audio applications that require a precise midrange, dynamic bass, and high power handling. The combination of a rigid, black anodized aluminum cone and a linearized driver ensures detailed reproduction with high impulse fidelity. Thanks to its highly efficient 3-ohm design, the speaker achieves high sound pressure levels even when paired with lower-power amplifiers or modern factory radios, while it unleashes its full sonic potential when connected to a high-quality power amplifier.

The low-resonance steel basket, the Nomex suspension, and the durable rubber surround ensure controlled cone movement and a clean sound—even at higher volumes. This makes the GZRK 165SQX ideal for high-quality 2-way or 3-way sound-quality systems.
