The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The Ground Zero GZHW 25-D1/D2 from the HYDROGEN series was developed for high-performance car audio systems that require both high volume levels and precise bass reproduction. Thanks to its Klippel®-optimized design, reinforced paper cone, and solid cast aluminum basket, this 25-cm subwoofer delivers high power handling, controlled cone movement, and reliable performance even under extreme excursion.

The 63-mm copper voice coil, combined with the long-throw U-shaped surround, enables an enormous cone excursion and ensures powerful, dynamic low-bass reproduction. The sturdy 2-layer Polycot centering ring and the carbon dust cap increase mechanical stability and ensure precise reproduction even under high continuous load. With a choice between dual 1-ohm and dual 2-ohm versions, the subwoofer can be flexibly adapted to a wide variety of amplifier configurations and is equally suitable for performance-oriented everyday systems as well as SPL applications.
