The DLS RC25 from the Reference Series is a high-quality 25-mm silk dome tweeter that delivers exceptionally clear, natural, and low-distortion high-frequency reproduction. The specially treated textile diaphragm, combined with a powerful neodymium magnet system and a copper ring, ensures precise detail reproduction and a pleasantly balanced sound.

Thanks to its compact design, the RC25 is ideal for upgrading existing car audio systems as well as for retrofitting vehicles without separate tweeters. The included 4-kHz high-pass crossovers allow for easy integration into existing speaker systems.

To allow for flexible installation, the package includes both angled surface-mount enclosures and mounting brackets for recessed installation.

Der RC25 lässt sich auf zwei Arten montieren: aufgebaut mit den mitgelieferten angewinkelten Aufbauhalterungen oder versenkt mit den Einbauhalterungen. Für die versenkte Montage brauchst du eine Einbauöffnung von 46 mm und eine Einbautiefe von 20 mm. Der Außendurchmesser des Hochtöners beträgt 43 mm. Achte beim Anschluss auf die richtige Polung. Welchen Durchmesser hat der DLS Reference RC25 und aus welchem Material ist die Membran?

Der RC25 ist ein Kalottenhochtöner mit 25 mm (1 Zoll) Durchmesser. Die Membran besteht aus Seide beziehungsweise behandelter Textilfaser. Dazu kommen ein Neodym-Magnet (30 mm Durchmesser) und ein Kupferring, der Verzerrungen reduzieren soll.

Braucht der DLS Reference RC25 eine zusätzliche Frequenzweiche?

Nein, zwei externe Hochpassfrequenzweichen gehören zum Lieferumfang. Sie trennen bei 4.000 Hz mit 12 dB pro Oktave und ermöglichen die Integration in vorhandene Lautsprechersysteme. Die Anschlüsse nimmst du anhand der Bedienungsanleitung vor, achte auf die Impedanz von 4 Ohm.

Prüfe zuerst Kabelverbindungen, Polung und die korrekte Verdrahtung der Hochpassweiche. Häufige Ursachen sind lose Kontakte, ein defekter Verstärkerkanal oder eine falsch angeschlossene Weiche.
