The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

With the MAX S2-10D1/D2, GAS Audio is targeting ambitious car audio enthusiasts who want to combine uncompromising bass performance with high power handling. The 10-inch subwoofer was designed for extreme volume levels, high continuous power handling, and precise low-frequency reproduction. Its robust construction—featuring a reinforced cone, a solid aluminum basket, and a powerful triple-ferrite driver—ensures impressive control and reliability even under demanding conditions.
The generously sized 3-inch dual voice coil made of pure copper handles high power with ease and remains thermally stable even during prolonged periods of high load, thanks to the sophisticated DVS2 ventilation system. The combination of a high-roll foam surround, a double Nomex centering spider, and a reinforced IMPP dust cap enables a large linear cone excursion and powerful bass responses with high precision.
Depending on the amplifier configuration, the subwoofer is available as the MAX S2-10D1 (2×1 ohm) or the MAX S2-10D2 (2×2 ohm), offering maximum flexibility in wiring. Directly connected OFC speaker cables replace traditional terminal blocks and ensure a signal path with exceptionally low signal loss.
