The GAS Audio Power MAX S1-6D1 was developed for discerning car audio enthusiasts who expect uncompromising bass performance even in tight installation spaces. With its robust dual 1-ohm voice coil, a high-quality 2-inch copper voice coil, and an extremely sturdy aluminum basket, the subwoofer delivers high output levels, precise control, and impressive low-frequency extension.
The torsionally rigid diaphragm, made of mica-reinforced, unpressed paper, combines low weight with high stability and ensures fast, dynamic bass reproduction. A generously sized high-roll foam surround allows for a long cone excursion, while the dual Nomex suspension ensures precise guidance of the voice coil even under heavy loads.
To ensure reliable continuous operation, GAS Audio relies on a sophisticated cooling system featuring DVS2 (Dual Ventilation System) and a reinforced pole piece design for improved heat dissipation. This reduces distortion and ensures consistent performance even at high power levels. The MAX S1-6D1 is ideal for high-performance SPL and everyday sound systems that require both high sound pressure levels and sound quality.
