The GAS Audio MAX S1-12 was developed for uncompromising bass performance and is designed for discerning car audio enthusiasts who expect high volume levels, enormous power handling, and precise low-frequency response. With its massive 3-inch dual voice coil made of pure copper, powerful dual ferrite driver, and torsionally rigid aluminum basket, this subwoofer offers the ideal conditions for high-performance SPL and sound quality applications.
The specially reinforced paper cone with mica reinforcement provides an excellent balance of stability, light weight, and natural sound reproduction. Thanks to the sophisticated Dual Ventilation System (DVS2), the vented pole piece, and the aluminum voice coil carrier, heat is efficiently dissipated. This ensures that the subwoofer remains controlled and powerful even under sustained high loads.
The MAX S1-12D1 (2x 1 ohm) and MAX S1-12D2 (2x 2 ohm) models allow for flexible impedance matching and are suitable for both high-power mono power amplifiers and custom system designs.
