The GAS Audio MAX S1-18D1 was developed for uncompromising bass systems and is designed for users who want to combine maximum headroom with impressive power handling. The solid construction, featuring an aluminum basket, a generously sized 3-inch dual voice coil, and a powerful ferrite driver, ensures exceptionally high control even during extreme excursions. The reinforced paper cone with mica additives combines high rigidity with low weight and delivers powerful, precise low-frequency reproduction.
To ensure reliable continuous operation, GAS Audio relies on a sophisticated cooling system featuring DVS2 (Dual Ventilation System) and a reinforced pole piece design for improved heat dissipation. As a result, the subwoofer remains powerful and distortion-free even under high, sustained loads. With its dual voice coil, the MAX S1-18D1 is ideal for high-power SPL and high-output systems in optimally tuned bass-reflex or sealed enclosures.
