The GAS Audio MAX PMW1-84N was developed for high-performance car audio systems that require high sound pressure levels, precise bass response, and clean midrange reproduction. Thanks to its powerful N52 neodymium magnet, lightweight construction, and high sensitivity, this 20-cm speaker delivers impressive dynamics and impact in both SPL and SQL systems.
The water-repellent A3D paper diaphragm with WRC coating ensures natural sound reproduction and high stability even at high volume levels. A 32-mm Kapton voice coil, the copper shorting ring, and the DVS™ Dual Ventilation System reduce distortion and improve heat dissipation, ensuring consistent performance even under sustained high loads.
The rugged steel basket design with a high-quality coating provides the stability required for demanding applications. The speaker is complemented by generously sized CD crosshead terminals that can accommodate cable cross-sections up to 10 mm² (8 AWG). The included protective grille reliably protects the speaker and rounds out the high-quality package.
