The GAS Audio MAX PMW1-84 is a high-performance 8-inch SPL midwoofer designed for high sound pressure levels, dynamic mids, and punchy kick drums. Thanks to its robust construction featuring a water-repellent paper cone, high-quality ferrite driver, and premium 32-mm Kapton voice coil, the speaker excels in both SPL applications and performance-oriented car audio systems. Its high sensitivity delivers impressive sound pressure levels even with moderate amplifier power, while the well-designed ventilation reduces distortion and improves thermal handling.
The progressive A3-NBR surround and the polycotton/Nomex centering spider ensure precise cone movement and enable clear sound reproduction even at high volumes. The design is complemented by a copper shorting ring, which minimizes distortion and improves transient response. The sturdy steel basket, robust cable terminals for wires up to 10 mm², and the included protective grille make the MAX PMW1-84 an excellent choice for high-performance door systems and SPL applications.
