The GAS Audio MAD S2-10D2 was designed for powerful and precise bass reproduction and combines a robust construction with high power handling. The 2-inch dual voice coil made of pure copper wire (PCW), the sturdy steel basket construction, and the durable IMPP cone ensure clean bass reproduction and high reliability—even at higher volume levels. Thanks to the 2+2-ohm dual voice coil, the subwoofer can be flexibly adapted to various amplifier configurations.
The specially developed USG™ surround design supports controlled cone movement, while the DVS™ ventilation system improves cooling of the voice coil and reduces distortion under high load. As a result, the MAD S2-10D2 is suitable for both compact sealed enclosures and bass-reflex applications, delivering powerful low-frequency bass and clean music reproduction. The combination of a robust ferrite driver, a torsionally rigid steel basket, and high-quality craftsmanship makes it the ideal choice for budget-conscious car audio beginners and serious bass enthusiasts.
