The MUSWAY MT169Q is an exceptionally compact bass-reflex subwoofer designed for car audio applications where a powerful and deep bass foundation is required despite limited space. Housed in a sturdy MDF enclosure is a 15 x 23 cm (6 x 9-inch) subwoofer with a dual voice coil, capable of handling 200 watts RMS. Thanks to its compact design, the MT169Q can also be installed in vehicles where there is limited space for a traditional 25- or 30-cm enclosed subwoofer.
The 2 + 2-ohm dual voice coil allows for flexible adaptation to different amplifier configurations. MUSWAY recommends a total amplifier power of 140 to 220 watts RMS. With a frequency response starting at 35 Hz, the bass-reflex system is designed to deliver powerful low-frequency output and is suitable both as a complement to a factory-installed sound system and for compact aftermarket solutions.
For easy integration, the MT169Q features a MUSWAY Quick Connect jack in addition to conventional terminals. When used with a compatible Quick Connect cable, the subwoofer can, for example, be connected directly to MUSWAY amplifiers equipped with the same connector. The rugged MDF enclosure, covered with black carpet, and a sturdy perforated metal grille protect the subwoofer during daily use in the trunk.
