The HiFonics ZEUS ZDK1 is a comprehensive damping kit designed to acoustically optimize two car doors. The complete kit combines high-quality aluminum butyl with two different types of acoustic foam, offering a tailored solution for reducing disruptive vibrations and unwanted resonances.
The included ZEUS 120dB AluButyl insulation mats, with a material thickness of 1.8 mm, are used to stabilize door panels and reduce structure-borne noise. In addition, smooth acoustic foam mats 7 mm thick and dimpled foam mats 15 mm thick are used.
Combining these three insulation materials helps reduce unwanted vibrations and creates the acoustic conditions necessary for more precise bass reproduction and improved speaker sound.
The HiFonics ZDK1 contains a total of 14 sound-deadening panels with a total area of 2.59 m² and is designed for sound-deadening two car doors.
