HiFonics Zeus Power Series

Not only HiFonics fans know: If you are looking for a particularly good and powerful car hi-fi power amplifier, you are guaranteed to find it with ZEUS models. This formula has been in place for a good 30 years, when the legendary ZEUS Series 7 laid the foundation for what ZEUS amplifiers still stand for today: maximum power and performance as well as the finest sound, in short - the best that is possible with Class A/B technology.

Connoisseurs know this: Class A/B power amplifiers are great, but anything but compact. For this reason, HiFonics engineers have completely redesigned the ZEUS POWER ZXR series as Class D power amplifiers. The result is a beautiful power pack with very slim dimensions - and all in the familiar and popular ZEUS look. No matter where you look, the ZXR amps are superbly finished. With an outstanding efficiency of over 90%, they don't even need much power to exploit their full potential. The sophisticated features of the ZXR series also include a wired bass remote so that the levels can be conveniently adjusted from the driver's seat.

In today's world, connectivity to modern vehicles is more important than ever. Equipped with the very latest EPS high-level input, the loudspeaker signal from the car radio can be easily tapped without causing error messages in the vehicle. Wie schließe ich die Hifonics ZXR1200/1 richtig an meinen Subwoofer an?

Die Mono-Endstufe verbindest du über die Lautsprecherklemmen mit deinem Subwoofer. Achte dabei auf die korrekte Polung (Plus/Minus) und wähle die passende Impedanz-Einstellung entsprechend deinem Subwoofer (1, 2 oder 4 Ohm).

Welche Sicherung benötige ich für die ZXR1200/1 und wie viel Strom zieht sie?

Für die 1200 Watt RMS Leistung empfiehlt sich eine 100-150A Sicherung nahe der Batterie. Der Class-D-Verstärker arbeitet sehr effizient und zieht dank des hohen Wirkungsgrads deutlich weniger Strom als vergleichbare analoge Endstufen.

Nach welcher Zeit zeigt sich die volle Klangqualität der Zeus Power Endstufe?

Die digitale Technologie liefert sofort nach der Installation optimale Performance. Eine Einspielzeit von etwa 20-30 Betriebsstunden kann jedoch minimale Klangverbesserungen bringen, da sich die Bauteile thermisch stabilisieren.

Kann ich die Endstufe im Kofferraum oder unter dem Sitz montieren?

Die kompakte Bauweise der ZXR Serie ermöglicht flexible Montageorte. Wichtig ist ausreichende Belüftung für die Kühlung - mindestens 5cm Abstand zu anderen Oberflächen und keine direkte Abdeckung der Kühlrippen.

Wie stelle ich den Tiefpassfilter optimal für meinen Subwoofer ein?

Der integrierte Tiefpassfilter lässt sich stufenlos zwischen 35-250 Hz regeln. Für die meisten Subwoofer empfiehlt sich ein Bereich von 60-80 Hz. Teste verschiedene Einstellungen, um den besten Übergang zu deinen anderen Lautsprechern zu finden.

Ist die Endstufe auch für Wettbewerbe und extreme Belastungen geeignet?

Die robuste Verarbeitung und die 1-Ohm-Stabilität machen die ZXR1200/1 durchaus wettbewerbstauglich. Die konstante Leistungsabgabe und der Überhitzungsschutz gewährleisten zuverlässige Performance auch bei Dauerbelastung im SPL-Bereich.
