Engineered for clarity and control
The 4-inch midrange driver features an aluminum cone selected for its ability to deliver a tight, punchy mid-bass and clear midrange response - perfect for bringing vocals and instruments to life with accuracy and engaging energy.
The 1-inch tweeter uses a silk dome tweeter to produce smooth, mellow high frequencies, providing a refined, natural high frequency response that brings out detail without sounding shrill.
A special 2-way crossover ensures that each driver performs at its best, ensuring balanced sound reproduction and seamless integration between midrange, tweeter and vehicle.
Intelligent bass blocker function
In BMWs with the factory basic sound system, the under-seat subwoofers and the door loudspeakers share the same signal. This means that the small 4-inch door speakers are forced to reproduce low bass tones for which they are not designed - often resulting in distortion and a muddy sound.
The ZDBMW4CS has integrated bass filtering that filters out frequencies below 120 Hz (-12 dB/octave). This prevents unwanted bass from reaching the midrange drivers, allowing them to reproduce louder, clearer and more precise sound. The bass is then optimally reproduced by the under-seat woofers, ensuring a balanced and distortion-free sound.

The ZDBMW4CS features a double aluminum mounting system for maximum stability and vibration-free operation. Thanks to its innovative design, it fits perfectly into various BMW configurations, regardless of which of the two OEM brackets your vehicle uses.
